Hanley Associates was established in 1978 by Bruce Michael Hanley J.D. P.I.  The company conducted successful seminars and provided negotiation workshops to private industry and insurance companies.

Hanley Associates commenced investigative operations in Southern California with offices in Huntington Beach.  We have specialized in the field investigation of insurance claims.  Our staff has industry experience from work assigned by Liberty Mutual, Pacific National Insurance, The Home, Industrial Indemnity, California Compensation and Business Insurance Group.  We have also worked for various private ventures and Law Offices.

The president of the company, Bruce Hanley, has worked in the insurance field for numerous carriers.  His background includes over 20 years in the business as a Supervisor, Manager, Litigation Manager, Examiner, Director and Vice-President.

Mr. Hanley has served as Director of Litigation and managed a hearing representation program at Cal Comp.  He developed a litigation management system at Business Insurance Group which had operations in 37 states.  He created a Check System for Liberty Mutual Los Angeles Office. 

Bruce created a Subrogation Department at Cal Comp which became the best in the state for many years.  His penchant for up-close and personal investigations improved all phases of field operations for Business Insurance Group.

Superior field presence caused Mr. Hanley’s group to become a leader at the Worker’s Compensation Appeals Board.

Knowledge of Worker’s Compensation and Liability claims sets Hanley Associates ahead of the pack.  Experience with all aspects of both disciplines helps Hanley Associates deliver better results to our clients.
